Food – Fuel for the Body & Soul

Food is more important than mere nourishment for the body, good food is:

  • A great pick-er-uper. Nothing like a warm mug of soup when your cold and soaked to the bone.
  • A meal or snack is something to look forward to.
  • A snack breaks the boredom of a long passage.
  • Topic of conversation.
  • A source of pride to serve something better than the last.

It is important to eat nutrious, healthy, well balanced meals regularly. You never know when an emergency may arise and you will need all you can give.

I started these pages to jot down foods I have found suitable for cruising and those I would like to try. Please add yours.
